Workers also offer emotional support, encourage independence, and promote safety and inclusion in home and community settings. This role requires compassion, patience, and a commitment to improving each person’s quality of life.
Supported Employment Specialists help individuals with developmental disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs. Supported Employment Specialist assist with job searching, applications, and interview preparation, while also providing on-the-job coaching and follow-along support to ensure long-term success. The goal is to promote independence, build confidence, and support each person’s growth in the workplace.
Supported Living Coaches assist individuals with developmental disabilities in maintaining safe, independent, and stable living arrangements within their own homes and communities. Coaches will help clients develop essential daily living skills such as budgeting, meal planning, household management, personal safety, and decision-making. Coaches provide guidance, advocacy, and hands-on support to ensure individuals can live independently while achieving their personal goals.
